With the popularity of monthly subscription boxes growing, it is no surprise that more companies are joining the "boxy" bandwagon. The latest one to come up is Mine Chest. Mine Chest is the official subscription box for Minecraft. Most of you know Minecraft as the widely popular sandbox game. Now, you will be able to get a monthly dose of Minecraft goodness delivered to your door. The first Mine Chest is currently available for preorder. The subscription is priced at $29.99 (plus S&H and taxes). The box will be filled with exclusive items; ranging from clothing, to collectibles, and even DIY crafting projects. You can find more information on Mine Chest HERE. Thoughts Personally, I am a big fan of most subscription boxes, and I'm excited to see what Mine Chest has to offer. Although the Mine Chest subscription is priced higher than most other boxes, it isn't by much. For example, the Funko Subscription boxes (Marvel Collector Corps, Star Wars Smuggler's Bounty, and DC Legion of Collectors) are priced at about $35 every other month. While Mine Chest is about $40 every month. Is the Mine Chest worth it's fairly steep price? With its first box not shipping out until May, it is definitely to early to tell. We'll just have to wait and see.

With Toy Fair NY 2016 just over one week away, it is possible that we will begin seeing toy leaks ahead of the event. Now, as with leaks in the technology industry, many of these leaks should be taken with a grain of salt. Some of them might be legit, some might be false leaks to hint at what's to come, and others might just be flat out lies. The image above (along with another one) was shared on Twitter by Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds, with the caption "Dammit, Fox! I said no toy fairs! Totally spoiling key #Deadpool scenes...". Although this Lego set is false, it is a great idea. An idea that I personally hope becomes reality. I would love to see Official Deadpool Movie Lego Sets. Also, it is fun to see these mock-up Lego sets, and all the Easter Eggs they hold. Let's take a look at the box art and see how many Easter Eggs we can find:

If I missed anything, please feel free to let me know. Thoughts As I said earlier, it would be amazing to see Lego sets based on the Deadpool Movie. Even one of the sets shown above would be pretty cool. As far as I know, Deadpool has only been featured in Lego form once. It was in the Lego Marvel SUPERHEROES X-Men Set "Wolverine's Chopper Showdown". |
